The lakes are one of the most beautiful places on earth. An area of outstanding natural beauty and rugged terrain, coupled with some of the best hotels and restaurants in the UK, make this one of the best places to visit on Earth.
Now applying to become a world heritage site, the Lake District National Park is one of the best places to visit ... but if you're lucky enough (like me), it's an even better place to live.
In the near future, I will be writing more and more about places to visit and to places to stay.
